Sophisticated detector chips, optics and electronics pave the way for instruments that provide new answers. In our cleanrooms, we can manufacture them, assemble them with other components, integrate them into an instrument, and extensively test them as end products under conditions they will encounter as space instruments. In the cleanroom, chips, circuits and optical systems that must always maintain a clear image are protected from contamination or static discharge that could damage them.
