Cryogenic, high-frequency, low noise, low power

The high-end electronics for scientific detector experiments and flight-worthy space instruments often must operate with cryogenic systems. The designs function at high frequencies, low noise and low power. Well-equipped labs at SRON facilitate this.

Pick and place machine

A high-end Pick & Place machine in the cleanroom helps our assemblers to place very small and exotic components with extreme precision on complex printed circuit boards designed by our in-house electronics engineers. The solder paste printing option allows them to apply solder paste to the printed circuit board contactlessly and with great precision.

Vapor Phase vacuum oven

We use the Vapor Phase oven in the cleanroom to solder the components onto a printed circuit board. This oven has a unique vacuum option, which prevents tiny air bubbles in solder joints for extra high reliability.
